Pop outs sanding and re-threading...

Waiting for the seals to arrive, I removed all the paint and rust from my pop out frames.
I also redid the thread to get rid of the rusty VW mini-screws and use new stainless steel screws.

Dismantling pop outs and cleaning sunvisors...

While I was ill at home, I dismantled my pop outs and found some rust. I had to drill some screws because they had become one thing with the frame... Now I got to find new stainless screws and try to restore these frames. Otherwise I have to buy new ones.

I also cleaned the sunvisors, polishing the arm and respraying the screw...

Shopping on Ebay...

Today I went shopping on Ebay!
I bought from ISP WEST (based in Carson, California) a window seal kit for my pop outs and the left latch (now is missing).
I guess it's good stuff and the price is very good.
I already bought here my Scat Drag Fast shifter for The Goldfather and I had no problems at all, saving a lot of money.

"Nowadays one can put nearly each Beetle into one of the numerous styling schemes: Cal-Look, German Style, Resto-Cal-Look, Rat Look... in the past many kind of Bugs were developed.
