KG rubber floor mats

I found on eBay a pair of original rubber floor mats, perfect for my lowlight Ghia.

Pro: very low price
Cons: These cover only the right side of the car

November weekend

While I was trying to begin with the rubbers and seals of the Eriba,
I couldn't help letting my 20-months-old nephew play inside the caravan.
All is child-dimensioned there, so he felt better than at home!

He tried to dismantle everything inside...

On Sunday I helped Silvia with her KG...
Caution! Work in Progess!

Rust is already eating the pan here, so we just sanded the whole thing...

We opted to stop the rusting process for now, putting a black antirust gel by Saratoga, applied with a paintbrush. Not for show. But I'm sure it will be fine for a while.

In the meantime the winter recovery for a pair of VWs is almost ready:

E' mio!

Avantreno -15cm senza ammortizzatori

lame regolabili e cambio Karmann Ghia 8x31 (sigla AO)

Essenziale. Rust is not a crime!

Presto altre news.

Old-style toe-in

It's good to see this beauty in the garden, but it needs some professional toe-in, in order to drive better and avoid uneven tire wear.

Since it's not possible to use modern methods, I went to Mr. Spapperi, one who could use the old style method for the toe in.

Back again home, and parked aside Silvia's '63 Karmann Ghia. Good couple eh?

10 thousand visits!!!
